Dear Parents,

As we work our way into March, please make note of the monthly newsletter and mark any important dates and times.  We are gearing up for an exciting Spring that includes Spring Break and several opportunities for student recognition.  Please remember to bring your son/daughter to school on time every day and ready to learn.

COLLEGE FAIR

This year our school will be hosting a College Fair on Friday, March 20^th as a way to continue to promote a “college-going culture.” Students will hear presentations from college representatives as well as professionals in the field.  The fair will be interactive as students will be asked to play “college bingo” or participate in a “college scavenger hunt.” More information is forthcoming.

 

ATWATER ANNUAL ART EXHIBIT & SHOWCASE

This year’s Annual Art Exhibit & Showcase will run from Monday, March 23^rd through Friday, March 27^th. Please take some time to visit and admire the great work that our students have produced.  This year’s theme is: S.T.E.A.M. Inspired Art.

 

OPEN HOUSE

Our Annual Open House is scheduled for Thursday, March 26^th from 5:00-6:30 pm; more information to follow.

 

ATWATER School Wide Discipline – FOCUS ON RESPONSIBILITY in March

Responsibility is doing what you know is the right thing to do—even if no one is watching.

PLEASE use this opportunity to review what this means.  Here are a few examples:

• Following school rules
• Doing & bringing your homework every day.
• Coming to school “ON TIME.”

You can reinforce this at home by asking your son/daughter to recite the rules and give examples of what each one means. With everyone’s help we can create a positive climate school-wide.

Estimados Padres,

Al iniciar nuestro trabajo en marzo, por favor tome nota del boletín de noticias mensuales y marque cualquier fecha importante y los horarios.  Nos estamos preparando para una primavera emocionante que incluye el Receso de Primavera y varias oportunidades para el reconocimiento de estudiantes.  Por favor no olvide traer a su hijo a la escuela a tiempo cada día y listo para aprender.

FERIA COLEGIAL

Este año nuestra escuela será el anfitrión de una feria universitaria el viernes 20 de marzo como forma de seguir promoviendo una "cultura universitaria." Los estudiantes escucharán presentaciones de representantes de las universidades, así como profesionales en el campo.  La feria será interactiva, los estudiantes podrán jugar "Lotería Colegial" o participar en un "búsqueda de tesoro Universitario." Más información por venir.

 

EXHIBICION ANNUAL DE ARTE DE ATWATER

La exhibición anual de arte este año se presentara del lunes 23 de marzo hasta el viernes 27 de marzo. Por favor  tome algún tiempo para visitar y admirar el gran trabajo que han elaborado nuestros alumnos. El tema este año es: Arte Inspirada por S.T.E.A.M.

 

OPEN HOUSE (Casa Abierta)

Nuestra “Casa Abierta Anual” se llevara a cabo el jueves, 26 de marzo de 2020 de 5:00-6:30pm. ¡Esperamos verlos ahí! Más información a seguir.

 

ATWATER Programa de Disciplina Escolar – ENFOQUE: RESPONSIBILIDAD (mes de marzo)

Responsabilidad es hacer lo que sabes es lo correcto, incluso si nadie está mirando.

Por favor use esta oportunidad para revisar lo que esto significa.  Aquí están algunos ejemplos:

• siguiendo las reglas de la escuela
• haciendo y regresando su tarea todos los días
• viniendo a la escuela "a tiempo”

Puede reforzar esto en casa pidiendo a su hijo a recitar las reglas y dar ejemplos de lo que cada uno significa. Con la ayuda de todos podemos crear un clima positivo de toda la escuela.
